Arizona - Landscapes and Learning, Part 1
Personal Work March 1st, 2009I am a bit behind in blog postings and image processing so please bear with me - it’ll be worth it.
I will be doing a multi-part entry over the next few weeks about my travels to Arizona in early January. The main purpose of the trip was to attend the Digital Wedding Forum Convention in Carefree, Arizona, and the PPA (Professional Photographers of America) Convention in Phoenix. Of course, one cannot resist the temptation to photograph some of the gorgeous landscapes found in the Southwest, so I got together with my good friend Chris Mann of Tropical Imaging in Turks and Caicos and added a couple of days to the front of the trip to do just that.
This is the first entry documenting my trip. I will let the images speak for themselves.
This is Chris - and my shadow!
Finally, a shot of me in the Painted Dessert. No, I have not taken up chewing tabacco, that’s a lens cap in my pocket!
Until the next segment…

Very smooth
These remind me of the old film era postcards from my childhood traveling the American West with my parents. Great mood.
