Shivani and Amit (AJ) - The Engagement

Engagement Sessions No Comments »

You would think the heat would wait a bit longer, but no.  Shivani, Amit (AJ), and I headed out in 92+ degree heat to capture their engagement session and they kept it cool.  I learned that AJ is a practical joker - even though he doesn’t smile much.  He will certainly be a blast at the wedding!

Shivani looked great and had a beautiful outfit on.  We hit a few locations and got some great results.  So, here are a few of my favorites.

What a great session.  I got to see some parts of the Houston area I had not seen before - OK, maybe saying “Houston area” is a stretch, but it sure was a great day.  After some heavy storms the two days prior to this session, the day was absolutely gorgeous for a long drive and a fantastic engagement session with a great couple.

Gita had suggested shooting at the Vaner-Hogg Plantation in West Columbia and then continuing on to the beach.  It sounded like a great place so we planned it all out.  In between these two locations, we stopped in the town of Angleton for some alleyways - my favorite type of location.

So, here are some photos…

Gita, Sheilen, see you in a few weeks at your wedding - and let’s make sure there are no fire ants around!

Wow…what a session!  Lara and Elie wanted something a bit different…a bit more fun…a bit more casual.  So, we headed out, found some great light, some vibrant colors, and got this.

Jennifer and Brian - The Engagement

I had the pleasure of photographing Jennifer and Brian in different areas thoughout Downtown recently.  These are their engagement portraits and they will be using at least one for a “save the date” card.

These two were a lot of fun.  Brian is very outgoing - which I think he definitely proved to me when he told me the story of how they met.

So, here are some pictures for you to enjoy.

Heidi and Brandon - The Engagement

I recently photographed Heidi and Brandon’s engagement portraits - and had a blast.  I met them through Stephanie and Derek who’s wedding I photographed in October.  When it came time to do the session, we met up at a Lupe Tortilla restaurant where we started with a drink and long conversation about the session and their upcoming wedding.  We then headed out to several locations throughout downtown Houston.

Here are some of my favorites from the session.

Guys, thanks a bunch for allowing me to tag along with you for the afternoon.  You were both a blast!
