Puja and Neel - The Wedding

I had the pleasure of photographing Puja and Neel’s wedding recently - at one of my absolutely favorite venues:  Chateau Polonez.  This was a beautiful event coordinated by the fine staff at Desi’gn.

Allow me to let the images tell the story.

After the ceremony, the reception kicked off with Neel signing!  Let me tell you, he could easily have a second career!

Melissa and Peter - The Wedding

I had the pleasure of photographing Melissa and Peter’s wedding recently and it was a lot of fun.  Let’s start with the trolley that the guys used to get to the church - and later transported the bridal party to the reception.  That was an absolute party on wheels!

The dancing was incredible and everyone just seemed to have such a good time.  As for me, it felt great to talk with one of the guests about photography and learn what she did for a living.  Turns out she works for the Make a Wish Foundation and one of her wishes is to be a photographer.  So, I handed over one of my cameras, lens, and flashes to her and let her take some photos.  Her fiance was ecstatic - and so was she.

Here are some of the images from the wedding.

Melissa, Peter, thank you for giving me the opportunity to share in your wonderful day.  Amy, thank you for letting me make your wish come true - even if for just a little while.

Jennifer and Brian - The Wedding

From the moment I first met Jennifer and Brian I knew they were going to be laid back and an absolute blast to work with.  They didn’t disappoint!

Their engagement session was a lot of fun and their wedding continued that trend.  The girls got ready in a very relaxed envrionment listening to music on their iPhone.  The church (St. Anne’s Catholic Church on Westheimer) had a great classic feel and the reception venue (The Houstonian) - well, what can you say about one of the best venues in Houston?

So, with that out of the way, let’s jump right into the images and let them tell the story.

How’s that for a party?  This was some of the best dancing I’ve ever seen - with everyone having a great time.  So, Jennifer and Brian, I wish you two the very best.

Chrishna and Vic - The Wedding

I had the pleasure of helping my good friend Humza Yasin with this wedding a short while ago.  It was one of several (the rest are coming up soon…be on the lookout for them) I was priviledged to work with him on.

Over the last few years, Humza and I have become very good friends and we try to help each other out whenever possible.  Needless to say, when he asked if I’d help him at this wedding, I jumped at the opportunity.  Boy, was I ever glad.

Chrishna and Vic had an amazing wedding.  They went all out to make sure that their wedding was a memorable one…including beautiful dancers at the reception, acrobats, and an incredible bar, and an elevated platform for DJ Yogi to spin his tunes and keep the crowd moving all night.

So, with no further words, here are some photos.  We’ll start with the Friday event which took place at the Intercontinental Hotel by the Galleria.

On Saturday, the ceremony took place at the Hilton Americas in downtown where it was kicked off with a “hot” baraat!

After the baraat, it was time for the ceremony.

Of course, what better “getaway car” than a Ferrari?

Then, on to the party everyone was anticipating.

So, Chrishna and Vic - I wish you two the very best.  It was a spectacular wedding!
