The Alamo
Most people, specially those in Texas, will immediately recognize this landmark. Well, it took a LOT of patience to get this photograph. If you’ve ever visited The Alamo, you know that there is always a crowd around it. I waited for nearly an hour for the moment when there was no one in the image – besides the trooper. Yes, I could have used Photoshop to remove people – but that’s not the way I like to photograph. I was raised on film and getting it right in camera is top priority.
– and is now a shrine to Texas independence. While it is an amazing and historically important building, one needs to get out and visit the other missions along the “Mission Trail”. I’ll post some of those another time. For now, enjoy this one.
